"Hierophant" by Nico Rico

"Hierophant" by Nico Rico

"The ligatures tighten. I’ve been here my entire life …” — Cameron Morse, The Convict

This collection of poems is mainly about being held captive — either by men or monsters. In most cases, it's just by fear. Demand yourself daily to answer this question — What is it that binds me? If it's something good, then tighten up the ligatures. If it's bad, then fight to the death to be free.

Claudia, May 2016

Nico Rico is a Lansing, Michigan based photographer.
